Syzygium australe and its narrow selections lead the range, with Acmena, Viburnum, Juniperus, Escallonia, Nerium oleander, Euonymus and Callistemon covering different heights and textures.
A screen is only as good as its weakest plant, so uniformity of grade at delivery matters more here than in any other shrub application: one gap in a hedge line reads as a failure of the whole run. Specify a single batch. For taller boundaries see screening and privacy trees, and lilly pilly and Syzygium for the strongest single group.
