Before you send the schedule
A schedule is quicker to answer when the species names on it already resolve. Checking them against the species index before sending catches the two commonest delays at once: a binomial that has been superseded, and a species that is simply not in the range. Where a name does not resolve, the condition based groups usually contain a workable equivalent, most often in drought tolerant trees, salt tolerant trees or evergreen shrubs.
Sizes are the other thing worth settling early. Only the semi mature range in advanced trees carries a working supply size on every record, so a schedule written to those grades can be priced rather than estimated. For anything larger, hero trees is quoted specimen by specimen.
