The Thespesia populnea, commonly known as the Indian Tulip Tree, is a medium-sized evergreen or semi-evergreen tree native to tropical and subtropical regions, particularly along coastlines. Growing up to 10–15 meters, it is admired for its broad, heart-shaped leaves and beautiful, cup-shaped yellow flowers with maroon centers.
