Few landscape markets are as unforgiving as Macau's integrated resorts. Opening dates are fixed years ahead, standards are set by international hotel brands, and everything from mature palms to flowering colour must arrive through a border, on time, in show condition. This record sets down the projects and the operating model behind them.
The projects
- 2008 to 2009: City of Dreams Casino Resort, spanning the precinct's hotels, and Caesars Golf Macau.
- 2016: Wynn Palace and MGM Cotai, resort landscapes held to casino presentation standard from day one.
The operating model
The work was supported from our own nursery base across the border at Zhuhai, where stock was grown, acclimatised and prepared for delivery into Macau. Growing close to the project, and moving material only when it was ready, is the same local-nursery model the team proved at Disneyland Hong Kong and later carried to the Middle East.
Why this record matters
