Description

The Juglans nigra, or Black Walnut, is a majestic deciduous tree renowned for its valuable timber, edible nuts, and striking presence in large landscapes. Growing up to 30 meters, it features a straight trunk, a broad, rounded crown, and pinnate, dark green leaves that turn yellow in autumn. Its round, green husks encase rich, flavorful nuts that ripen in late summer to early autumn.
