The Lagerstroemia indica, or Crepe Myrtle, is a versatile deciduous tree or shrub admired for its vibrant summer blooms, smooth, peeling bark, and lush, green foliage. Native to China and Korea, it grows 3–8 meters tall, depending on the variety, with a broad, vase-shaped form.
