About this collection

Trees for Desert Landscaping

Desert planting is won on establishment, not on survival: almost anything lives with enough irrigation, and the useful question is what holds condition once the temporary system is decommissioned. Acacia carries this range, with Ziziphus, Tamarix aphylla, Parkinsonia, Searsia pendulina, Moringa and Adansonia covering the rest of the arid palette.

Ask for the irrigation assumption behind any drought claim, because tolerance in habitat and tolerance on a reflected heat podium are not the same thing. Trees for well drained soils in arid regions narrows this by ground condition, heat tolerant trees by summer maxima, and top desert trees works through the palette species by species.
