The Parkinsonia aculeata, commonly known as Jerusalem Thorn, Mexican Palo Verde, or Horse Bean, is a fast-growing, drought-tolerant deciduous tree native to arid and semi-arid regions of the Americas. It is well-known for its feathery, bright green foliage, spiny branches, and striking yellow flowers. Growing up to 6–9 meters, this tree has a graceful, airy appearance and is often used for shade, ornamental planting, or erosion control in dry landscapes.
