Coolamon Tree

Syzygium mooreii - Coolamon Tree

The Syzygium moorei, or Coolamon Tree, is a rare and striking rainforest tree native to eastern Australia. Known for its dense canopy of glossy green foliage and its unique, pink, pom-pom-like flowers that appear in clusters along the branches, this evergreen tree is a stunning addition to large gardens and landscapes. Following the blooms, decorative white to purple fruit provides additional interest and attracts birds. Growing up to 15 to 30 metres tall in ideal conditions, it can also be pruned to maintain a smaller size.

Hardy and adaptable, the Coolamon Tree thrives in subtropical and tropical regions, offering shade, beauty, and wildlife habitat.
