Osmoxylon lineare
Green Aralia
Osmoxylon lineare, the Green Aralia or Miagos Bush, holds an upright, narrow shape on stiff green stems and covers them in deeply cut, glossy bright green palmate leaves that give a fine feathery texture at close range. It stays narrow without pruning, which is its main practical virtue.
That narrowness makes it the plant for a screen with no depth available: a 600 millimetre planter against a wall, a lift lobby, a light well or a courtyard slot.
