Laurus nobilis - Bay Leaf

The Laurus nobilis, or Bay Leaf, is a hardy evergreen tree or large shrub prized for its aromatic leaves, which are widely used in cooking. Native to the Mediterranean region, it features glossy, dark green foliage and a dense, upright growth habit. Growing up to 10 metres but often pruned to a manageable size, it's ideal for hedging, topiary, or as a feature plant in both formal and informal gardens.
