Lavender Scallops

Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi, sold as Lavender Scallops, is a Madagascan succulent whose blue-grey scalloped leaves are edged in pink or purple, deepening in full sun and through cool weather. Stems sprawl and root where they touch, so a planted group knits into a low spreading mat.
It is used in rockeries, dry ground cover, green roofs and container work, and it asks for nothing but drainage.
Lavender Scallops covers dry difficult ground with real leaf colour, and it does it without irrigation.
