Cinnamomum burmanni
Indonesian Cinnamon
Cinnamomum burmanni, the Indonesian Cinnamon or Padang Cassia, is an evergreen tree of 7 to 15 metres whose whole plant is aromatic and whose new growth flushes a startling red-pink against the glossy dark green of the mature canopy.
It makes a well-mannered avenue and park tree in humid climates, and the flush cycle gives it seasonal colour without any leaf drop.
