Cardboard Plant

Zamia furfuracea - Cardboard Plant

The Zamia furfuracea, commonly known as the Cardboard Plant, is a hardy and low-maintenance cycad native to Mexico. Its thick, stiff, and slightly fuzzy leaflets form a rosette atop a short, stocky trunk, giving it a unique and textured appearance. Growing up to 1 meter tall and wide, it is an excellent choice for tropical and subtropical gardens, rockeries, or containers.

This slow-growing evergreen is drought-tolerant once established, making it ideal for xeriscaping or as a striking ornamental plant.
