Yucca rostrata

Beaked Yucca

Yucca rostrata - Beaked Yucca

The Yucca rostrata, or Beaked Yucca, is a striking evergreen succulent prized for its architectural form, drought tolerance, and low-maintenance nature. It features a single or multi-trunk structure topped with a spherical crown of narrow, blue-green, sword-like leaves. Growing up to 3 to 5 metres, it is ideal as a feature plant in xeriscapes, modern gardens, or desert-themed landscapes. In spring, tall spikes of creamy white flowers add seasonal interest, contrasting beautifully with its foliage.

Native to arid regions of Mexico and the southwestern United States, the Beaked Yucca thrives in hot, dry conditions and poor soils.
