Streblus asper (the Siamese Rough Bush, or Toothbrush Tree) is supplied by Ornatec as advanced, project-grade stock. A tough, small-to-medium evergreen native to South-East Asia, it carries a dense, characterful canopy on a sculptural trunk and takes hard pruning without complaint, which is why it is one of the classic species for cloud-pruned topiary and instant "character" planting. It tolerates drought, poor soils and coastal exposure once established.
