The Sansevieria trifasciata, commonly known as the Snake Plant or Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, is a hardy, low-maintenance succulent native to West Africa. Renowned for its upright, sword-shaped leaves with green banding and yellow edges in some cultivars, this plant is a popular choice for indoor and outdoor spaces. Growing up to 50–120 cm tall, it thrives in a variety of conditions and is highly tolerant of neglect, making it ideal for novice gardeners and busy individuals.
