The Pyrus calleryana 'Chanticleer', or Chanticleer Pear, is a deciduous ornamental tree admired for its upright, pyramidal shape and seasonal displays. In early spring, it is covered in masses of white blossoms, followed by glossy green leaves that turn vibrant shades of orange, red, and purple in autumn. Growing up to 8 to 12 metres tall and 3 to 5 metres wide, it is an excellent choice for streetscapes, gardens, and feature planting.
