Gordonia axillaris - Axillary Gordonia

The Gordonia axillaris, or Axillary Gordonia, is an evergreen tree or large shrub admired for its glossy, dark green leaves and showy white camellia-like flowers. Blooming in late autumn through winter, the fragrant flowers feature golden centres, creating a stunning display against its dense foliage. Growing up to 6 to 8 metres, it's an excellent choice for feature planting, hedging, or as a specimen tree in gardens.

Native to southern China, this hardy tree is ideal for temperate to subtropical regions and adds year-round interest to landscapes with its attractive foliage and seasonal blooms.
