Naming note: "Ficus nitida" is a long-standing nursery trade name, not an accepted botanical species. Plants sold under it are the clipped, dense-screening form of Ficus microcarpa. The open-grown, spreading form of the same species is listed separately as Ficus microcarpa, Chinese Banyan.
