Euphorbia eritrea

Candelabrum Cactus

Euphorbia eritrea - Candelabrum Cactus

The Euphorbia eritrea, commonly known as the Candelabrum Cactus, is a striking succulent plant with an upright, branching habit that resembles a candelabra. Native to arid regions of East Africa, this evergreen species features tall, columnar stems with ridges adorned by small, paired thorns. Growing up to 4 to 6 metres in height in ideal conditions, it is a bold architectural plant perfect for xeriscaping, rock gardens, or as a dramatic indoor specimen.

Despite its cactus-like appearance, Euphorbia eritrea is not a true cactus but shares similar low-water requirements, making it an excellent choice for water-wise landscapes.
