The Dictyosperma album, or Hurricane Palm, is a slender, elegant evergreen palm known for its graceful, arching fronds and remarkable resilience to strong winds and storms. Native to the Mascarene Islands in the Indian Ocean, it grows up to 8 to 12 metres tall, making it an excellent choice for tropical and subtropical landscapes. Its smooth, grey trunk and feathery green crown add a sophisticated and tropical aesthetic.

This hardy palm is well-suited for coastal and urban plantings, thriving in sandy soils and sunny locations.
