Blue Flax Lily

Dianella brevipedunculata - Blue Flax Lily

The Dianella brevipedunculata, or Blue Flax Lily, is a hardy, clump-forming perennial known for its strap-like, dark green foliage and small, star-shaped blue flowers. Blooming in spring and summer, the flowers are followed by attractive, glossy blue-purple berries that add a striking accent to the plant. Growing up to 0.6 metres, it is ideal for borders, mass planting, or as a groundcover in native or contemporary gardens.

Native to Australia, the Blue Flax Lily is drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of landscapes.
