Convolvulus cneorum

Silverbush

Convolvulus cneorum - Silverbush

The Convolvulus cneorum, commonly known as the Silverbush, is a low mounding evergreen shrub from the rocky coasts of the central Mediterranean, and the silk on its narrow leaves gives the whole plant a metallic silver cast that holds year round. White funnel flowers with a pink-flushed reverse open from spring well into summer.

It is planted in dry borders, rockeries, median strips and coastal gardens, and it asks for sharp drainage above everything else.
