The Brachychiton populneus, commonly known as the Kurrajong Tree, is a versatile and drought-tolerant evergreen tree native to Australia. Known for its dense canopy of glossy, dark green, lobed leaves and its ability to withstand harsh conditions, it grows up to 10–20 meters tall. The Kurrajong produces small, bell-shaped creamy flowers with maroon markings in spring and summer, followed by woody seed pods.

This resilient tree is ideal for shade, windbreaks, and ornamental planting in both urban and rural settings.
