Kurrajong Tree

The Brachychiton bidwillii, commonly known as the Kurrajong Tree, is a small, deciduous Australian native tree admired for its vibrant pink to red bell-shaped flowers that bloom in spring and summer. Compact in size, growing up to 4 to 8 metres tall and 3 to 5 metres wide, it features a dense canopy of deeply lobed green leaves, making it ideal for smaller gardens, streetscapes, or as a feature tree in native landscapes.
Drought-tolerant and hardy, the Kurrajong Tree is an excellent choice for water-wise gardens, adding seasonal colour and structure with minimal maintenance.
The Kurrajong Tree is a beautiful and resilient tree, perfect for adding vibrant seasonal colour, shade, and habitat to Australian-inspired gardens and landscapes.
