The Artemisia monosperma, commonly known as Sand Sagebrush, is a hardy, aromatic perennial herb or small shrub native to arid and semi-arid regions of North Africa and the Middle East. Known for its silvery-grey, finely divided leaves and strong aromatic properties, this drought-tolerant plant thrives in sandy soils and full sun. Traditionally valued for its medicinal properties, it is used as an antispasmodic and in treating various ailments.

Growing up to 0.5 to 1 metre tall, Sand Sagebrush is ideal for erosion control, desert landscaping, and ecological restoration projects.
